Birthday Pix

Sierra had a great time dining at The Olive Garden for her birthday dinner. Gammy, Papa & Aunt Pam joined us there and then came over for cake & ice cream.

Sierra still has a loose tooth but it won't be long. She had her 6 year check up and weighs 40 pounds and is 43" tall. She's a growing girl.

Emily has play try-outs on Tuesday. They are auditioning for the one act play that they will perform at the UIL competition in December. I volunteered to cater the event. I need my head examined. As if planning games for 450 kids wasn't enough of a challenge. However, the person in charge last year waited until the last minute to throw anything together and that just grates my nerves so if you want something done right...........

A good one: (Not for the Puritanical crowd) While dining at a Chinese restaurant in Galveston, Emily asked for chopsticks. Waiter man brought a set for everyone. Sierra & LJ immediately began to use theirs as bird beaks. LJ grabs one per hand and declares "This is my tweeter and this is my pecker". LJ places the chopstick in his mouth & proceeds to "peck" at the table with it between his teeth. As misfortune would have it he opened his mouth too wide and the chopstick dropped out, to which he exclaimed "I dropped my pecker on the floor."

We're just a travelling comedy club. The Griswald's would be proud :)
