In the home stretch

Well, this is our last weekend before school starts. We have been busy getting ready for the new school year. Supplies have been bought, the teacher has been met and we're ready to go. At least one of us is anyway. Sierra is very excited about the school year. Emily, not so much.

Cheerleadig practice started a couple of weeks ago. The girls are doing very well and really getting stuff down. Our first game is Sep 6th. Trouble is, we don't know where or what time yet. Nothing like planning .

LJ had his first soccer practice on Thursday. He was off to a rather slow start in the drills. Making sure he was dribbling in a perfectly straight line, he would stop & replace the ball. However, he was back in full form when the scrimmage began. He was all over the place, stealing the ball from the other kids & enjoying himself.

I do think football will be his sport of choice though. He's too young this year for football but can play next fall. He was in The Sports Authority throwing the ball into the display bin with perfect form. Even spiraling the ball-the sales guy was quite impressed.

Not much else going on. We're off to the soccer clinic!
