Yikes-It's been a while.

Things have been very busy lately and there's just been no time to post. We had company for the 4th, then we went out of town. When we got home, most of us got sick............

So-we're back from VA. Short visit but long travel. We spent much time in an airplane, airport or car.
Sierra's face says it all. We were @ our layover in Atlanta when this was snapped.

No sooner did we get home than we were back out. I met up with some friends in Ennis, TX which is about 30 miles SE of Dallas. Jen, Aimee & Ashley. They are some onlines buddies who live around here w/ the exception of Jen. She got the priviledge of auditing a company that does business in her homestate of PA.
She was AMAZED at the heat & the gigantic bugs. Everything is bigger in Texas, LOL. This is us after dinner @ Bubba's Steakhouse. Intersting little diner. They have a cooler upfront-as you walk in the door-where you pick your own steak & the waitress takes it to the, um, chef. Apparently, they can only do steaks one way since well done and med. rare happen to be the same color.

We've been pretty busy running around. We're getting ready for Emily's pageant this weekend. It starts tomorrow & we still have items to get. She's excited. Les is not. He will be her escort for the formalwear competition. Dog & pony is not his style. I'm thinking I'm going to have to invest in a clip on because I can't find his tie. I'd be willing to bet he has hidden it ;) If she places in any category she'll be invited to the national pageant in November. Thanksgiving @ Disneyland. That would be different.
